I am seeking advice on the optimal conditions for synchronizing Drosophila S2 cells. Specifically, I am interested in determining the ideal concentration of colchicine required to effectively arrest the cell cycle, as well as the recommended incubation time to maximize synchronization without affecting cell viability. Additionally, I would like to know the optimal duration for incubating S2 cells in serum-free media for cell cycle arrest using media starvation. Any insights or protocols on these methods would be greatly appreciated.
