Hello!

Someone works with Steptomyces metabolomics? I am using it as expression host but I am not sure if my target gene is being expressed. I would like to do labelled aminoacids feeding experiments, but using a solvent mix to extract compounds seems not to work well, there is mycelia growth in pelleted form. Someone has experience with more "aggresive" methods to extract metabolites,  those that don't requiere salts or buffers for downstream LCMS?
