Preparation of 2wt% of calcium lactate solution ?

I am doing crosslinking between calcium lactate solution and alginate gel.

How do I prepare calcium lactate solution. My approach was 2g of calcium lactate powder and 100g of ultrapure water. Can I use Magnetic stirrer to ensure even stirring.

How long should I stir?

How much RPM should I use?

What the temperature for this stirring?
