Dear All,

I am attempting in ovo embryo transfections using Turbofect transfection reagent administered through microinjection. A precipitate however forms once I add the reagents prior to injections.

My recipe is as follows (From De Sousa 2013, PhD thesis, VERTEBRATE SOMITE DEVELOPMENT AND NEURAL PATTERNING): 10% PEG 6000, 40% Turbofect, 0.5% fast green, 500 ng/uL plasmid DNA.

The turbofect manual cautions against too high DNA concentrations in reaction mixtures, but according to De Sousa it should work.

Any advice?
