Hi. I need to make vertical device cause my crystal has too big resistivity to make it into lateral form.

Unfortunately, our lab doesn't have a micro-manipulator so i have to use only photolihtography and optical microscope.

One of my fellows tried to make it but failed to witness only short from the sample.

To prevent short, I'm planning to deposit Al2O3 layer thinnly after situating a crystal above the bottom contact.

But I guess there is no paper showing those kind of process and result which makes me think that whether this method doesn't work at all.

Is there anyone who has done the similar thing and get some result?
