Being an activator of Mitochondrial calcium uniporter, how can spermine (polyamine) decrease calcium concentration in mitochondria ?

In my experiments, spermine is decreasing calcium concentration in mitochondria; but according to action of spermine (activates Mitochondrial calcium uniporter, it allows entry of calcium so it should increase calcium concentration)

But, in my study it is decreasing the calcium levels.

Kindly suggest the possible reason for the same.

I would be thankful if anyone could share the paper/some other mechanism action of spermine in accordance with my results (spermine decreases the calcium concentration)
