I am working on the effect of toxicants on the ovarian production of steroid hormones. Please, can someone recommend the most suitable cell line to be used as a model for this assay?
Thanks.
If your primarily interested in estrogen I would think a primary culture of Granulosa cells would serve as a good model
Good.
BG1, Human ovarian carcinoma cells have an endogenous estrogen receptor. Good amount of literature on this cell line too.
Thanks all for your suggestions.
Thanks to all.
