Hello there,
for a clean-up of plasmid DNA after a previous Maxi-Prep, I am considering which purification kits are appropriate. Also, asking more generally, I would like to know how the following purity grades translate: 'transfection grade', 'PCR grade', 'sequencing grade', 'for molecular biology works'.
So far, I can only tell that sequencing generally demands a very pure DNA - but apart from that, these terms are a bit unclear.

Hi there,
For whatever application I use the usual commercial kits from Qiagen or ThermoFisher (Miniprep, PCR purification, Gel Extraction) and it works OK as long as the UV spec of the final product is OK.
