For molecular work...No! but yes you can reuse tips after proper washing and sterilization for general microbiology work. Nothing can be said about number of times, it depends on material of tips or handling.
Which experiment exactely are you doing with your tips? In any case it cannot really be a problem of how many times but when do you have to change the tips with regards to the experiment you're doing. For instance when I do in situ hybridization on wholemount embryos, once the probe has been hybridized I can reused the same tips everytime to remove the solution from the tube containing the embryo when changing solution till the end of my experiment. However I will always have to use a clean tip when pipetting from a stock solution. Also when adding the same solution to several different tube you can re-use the same tips several time as long as it doesn't touch the neck of your stock solution bottle or the tube you're adding the solution to.
It depends for what purpose ur using the tips.........if ur doing work on rna than its a complete no..........but for other puposes u can use but washing it thoriugly and then autoclaving it.............but try avoiding,...becuase chance of contamonation is always there
Washing and autoclaving is best for pipette reusable, but for pcr or other molecular handling always prefer new one, also avoid using tips after transfer any blood sample
