I am going to do assay in onion/shallot seed hydrolytic and antioxidant enzyme assay during germination.

I found protocol for amylase and protease assay is using sodium phospate 0,1 M pH 7,4 as a buffer solution and different type (sodium-potassium buffer 50 mM; Na-K; is used for catalase and SOD?

Is it possible to use the buffer interchangeably or use only one type buffer for all of that enzyme assayed?
