Dear all, i have searched the PDB file of Calf Thymus DNA from various sources but i didnt get a particular PDB of CT-DNA. if anybody knows the PDB code of CT-DNA means please let me?
For obvious reasons "calf thymus DNA" is an individual specific sequence (or if bought commercially, a mix of individual sequences) for normal genomic Bos taurus DNA. Depending on source company it is probably going to be Bos taurus taurus rather than Bos taurus indicus (any of the major open genome browser repositories such as NCBI, UCSC or EnsEMBL have these). A proportion of the cells will have undergone TCR (t-cell receptor) rearrangement - in other respects the sequence will be genomic. I think UCSC (https://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgGateway) is easy to find your way around. Go to "cow" and ask for the gene(s) you are interested in. Remember that there may be SNP in your sequence at around one per thousand or so bp.
