I do not comprehend your statement - ‘no observed shifts in Blue and Red wavelengths’.

The fact that you are performing a kinetic assay implies that at least three entities are present, the substrate, the enzyme or catalyst and the product.

The substrate is the entity which is being acted upon by the enzyme or catalyst, and changed into the product.  Typically there will be an increase in the concentration of the product over time.  This product may have a different Lambda max from the substrate.

I think that the number of collisions will increase with time therefore the absorption intensity of this organic material will increase with time but without blue or red shift of Lambda max  of this material.

There is no 'relationship' between Lambda Max and Absorbance.  Lambda Max is used to identify a molecular species.  Concentration (mass/mL) is related to Absorbance by the Beer-Lambert law (A=abc).

What you are seeing in kinetics (1st year unimolecular, bimolecular degradation) is the decrease in 1 peak with a concomitant increase in absorbance of another.  An example would be the de-esterification of an ester and the increase in concentration of its organic acid.

           Thank you so much for your valuable comment. I accept what you have clarified. First of all I would like to explain my query in a detailed manner. " I just want to check the stability of my synthesised compound (hydrogen bonded proton transferred compound). Actually in some cases the hydrogen bond may break when some external forces might interfere on it, such as, solvent effect, temperature, etc.. So that I would like to study the stability of my hydrogen bonded compound in some biocompatible solvents (Ethanol, water, etc...) for various biological applications. Please imagine that if my compound is getting split into two moieties when i am going to feed into mice or rat it would be a false positive result. So that i am in need of checking whether my compound is stable or unstable when i mixed with solvents for a long time. If I didnt notice any change in wavelength means i would be stable. But if the lambda max increases while different time interval means what would be the surprise in it?! This is the basic curiosity in me.. I hope you understand what i have conveyed to you :)

         I agree with your answer but am not using two species. Am analysing single species in a same solvent but the highlight is TIME. I have varied time only for understanding the stability of my compound. But while time changes the Lambda max increases!!! What it actually conveyed to us? that is the basic query of mine!
