Hi All,

i want to use polydopamine coating as a layer for immobilisation of Amine functionalised particles through Michael addition. i have seen this approach in a few paper for both particle immobilisation or other functional group deposition. BUT, i do not understand how i can make particles and dopamine layer touch and do the reaction???

if i immerse a film with dopamine coating in tris base solution containing particles, what is the guarantee that particles touch the surface properly to do the reaction?

any comments or advice is very appreciated.
