Dopamine as glue ?

Hello all,

does anyone know if dopamine/polydopamine can be used a glue to hold other materials (like particles) on the surface of a substrate in aqueous solution?

i need to know if the particles can be attached strongly enough to dopamine/polydopamine layer and do not fall off in aqueous environment.

if you have any experience to related documents please share with me.
