I was viewing fecal sediments after FEACT from water buffaloes. One of the samples contained numerous "debris" that I'm unfamiliar with. I asked some colleagues if they were plant pollen or other plant parts but they told me it's not likely. Can anyone help me identify these so I could rule these out if they are indeed artifacts? Thank you.
Is the slide stained? They look like ciliates to me. The one on the second picture has flagella-like structures. I think protozoans should be common in this kind of samples.
The slide seems to be egg of an insect you can see the emerging part from the side of the slide

Some are eggs of parasites having spine like outgrowths, some are rounded shape eggs containning larvae inside and some are artifacts.
observe carefully under different magnification even you can use DIC attached microscope for viewing egg shell. I can see some interesting findings in your slides,
