Dear Colleagues,
I am trying to better understand how DLS works. It is well-known that in batch-mode, the DLS measure the light scattered by the sample over time and evaluate the correlation decay of the intensity trace to determine the diffusion coefficient of the particles. Then the Stokes - Einstein equation is applied to quantify the hydrodynamic diameter. But what about the flow-mode? If the fluid is flowing through the detector, is it still valid to apply the Stokes - Einstein equation?
