you can check on dbSNP which is ancestral allele and which one is minor allele. May be in your case C is ancestral allele

Different populations frequently have different ancestral alleles to SNPs (and different alleles of other types of genetic variation).

I agree with Ranjan, You can check several sites to see if your SNP of interest has been tested in many large populations including Chinese and Indian populations.

Some sites that are frequently useful to me with this issue are:

EVS: if it is a coding sequence SNP (populations primarily caucasian / african american)

Indian population is genetically heterogeneous. You did in one specific population or more?

Secondly you did it in a healthy control population or some selected subset?
