I have sequenced (currently partial nucleotide sequence) and would like to submit the same to the gene and protein databases. I have already posted the N-terminal protein sequence to Uniprot and received the acession number. Can i update the partial sequence and later full-length sequence with UniProt. Also i want to submit the gene sequence. Please suggest me the process of submission of both.
Sir as far as I know the DNA sequences can be submitted to GEN Bank (USA), EMBL (Europe) and DDBJ (Japan) from all of them Gen Bank and EMBL can be accessed freely well as one may submit the sequences by going to the home pages of this data banks. further protein data bases can be submitted to Swiss-Port. I have got this much information related to your question Kindly go though these data banks home page.
