I am pleased to announce the publication of:

Appendix 42 Part-3: Evaluation of Refutations of Appendix 42 and Appendix 42 Part-2 DOI: https://doi.org/10.13140/RG.2.2.31220.62082

🔍 This work addresses attempts to refute the unified ECM framework that explains thermionic emission and the photoelectric effect as arising from the same confinement-based mechanism. It clarifies how bound versus free electron states, apparent mass displacement (ΔMᴍ), and vibrational mediation underpin both effects.

The paper highlights:

  • The fundamental role of confinement in energy–electron interactions.
  • Why direct photon–electron collision models are insufficient.
  • A consistent evaluation framework showing that valid refutations must engage with ECM’s unifying principles comprehensively.

This appendix extends the ECM series by reinforcing a unified atom–energy interaction model that integrates thermionic and photoelectric processes under a common theoretical foundation.
