Reaction of Benzaldehye and acetaldehyde is giving me a very viscous product in 6 houra of run. The reactor vessel is of SS and the cleaning takes high temperature heating with acetic acid followed by heating with Methanol. For 6 hour reaction run I am doing 10 hours cleaning, sometimes even more. Is thier any better solvent or ther way for cleaning ?
