Many Jews, Christians, and Muslims define God as the greatest conceivable being. However, some religions claim that God does not love sinners who refuse to change. Must God love sinners who refuse to change in order to be the most perfect being?
According to Christian teaching God loves the sinners but not the sin itself. The sinners have opportunity to repent their sins. Often they are in late.
Allah love all people because they are his favorable creatures. He loves obedient because of their obedience and loves sinners to give them chances to come back to the right way. This speech existed in the holy Qur'an.
Indubitably, God has an all loving character because He is just, holy, wise, gracious, compassionate, merciful, kind, forgiving, patient, faithful and more. As such, the love of God is selfless - an endless out-flowing fountain benefiting all mankind. As you have rightly stated in the question, His limitless love for all people regardless of their color, race , social status, etc. has influenced the very depth of human nature making them want to connect ,beseech forgiveness and ask for His bounties and blessings.
Religion doesn't think that ... only men think. So millions of people, believers in Buddhism, don't think that there exists a God, therefore such discussions about God make only sense as result of certain religious convictions. Some people live free from them.
Dear Researchers, when it comes to God divinity, most of people get confused. let go out of science as science and philosophy use ontology to approve existence of something. God is not me or someone else, his love is unemotionally, as it doesn't have human nature. it loves sinners as nobody holy or divine person has existed. this is a metaphysical as people believe differently. others are not interested in God's existences due scientific proof. i accept too much free thinkers their ideas on believing as satisfactory important, we randomly found ourselves on the Earth, and no plan of when to leave, believing in superpower is associated to human inability or weakness. to be loved by God has no sense in this world. may be there will genetic mutation and mankind change in something else to understand about God's nature. even if God loves we cannot Understand, the cause is that we are interested on our surrounds not on abstractions.
God is a eternal force of energy for -creation , co-existence and destruction, thus allowing us to change /accept change.
To be human is what -at least our gods appreciate , because of the emotional rolla-coaster we go thru.
As far as sinners are considered , we have an accountant (Chitragupta) who keeps track of everything and we pay some day/time , nope not answerable , direct payment :)
Interesting question. I believe that love is an ideal to achieve. A symbolic goal born from religions and a weapon to redirect the behavior of sinners.
A Chinese proverb said that if you want to wish evil on your enemy, wish him to fall in love. Love can be the hardest drug of dependence.
Sin and sinner? What on earth can or does this really mean? Does god sin? Probably, but since god (whoever, whatever, wherever) decides these matters (sic) according to the Books god never can.
Can nobody truly see how silly all this actually is?
God is all loving and being holy do not Him to live in the company of willful sinners who refuse to change their sinful course of life. Thus, it is justified because there is no correlation between darkness and light. This attribute of the creator is imbued in nature. Nature even fails to live in harmony with irresponsible humans who engage in anthropogenic activities, venting her anger on them!
Your question appears to be asking about the human perception of God, not the attributes of God Himself. You are asking if God must love sinners who do not change in order for us, mortal man, to consider God to be the greatest conceivable being. First, no matter our perception of God, God just Is (I AM that I AM, Exodus 3:14). God is love, God is wisdom. Whether we perceive Him to be the greatest being or not does not change His status one way or the other, He simply IS. Now, as for whether God loves a sinner who refuses to change, we have to remember, God loved the world so much that He came down in the form of corruptible, sinful flesh, and dies for us, just to free us from sin. Now, a sinner may say that God does not love him because his sin has separated him from God (God cannot behold iniquity), thus perceiving Him to be less than the greatest being, but this does not change God. God still loves him and hopes for him to accept Jesus Christ before he dies, but once death occurs, it is too late. Accept Christ, and you shall be free.
