I extracted PSTH data from the MultiWell Analyzer. We recorded a 5-minute experiment (300 seconds) with stimulations occurring every 10 seconds (30 in total).

On the excel spreadsheet, Trace Count, Total Spike Count, and Mean Spike Count is given. It appears that Mean Spike Count is calculated by dividing the Total Spike Count by the trace count. (Sometimes trace count is 300, other times, it is 290.)

I am a bit new to this program and am wondering exactly what trace count is and how it is determined as either 300 or 290.
