From what I've seen RPMI incomplete and complete is typically stored in disposable 1-use containers. I've worked in previous labs where culture media was kept in glass jars that could be washed, autoclaved, and used again. That was with media needed for bacterial growth though. Has anyone here done that with RPMI and tissue culturing?

Yes I have done just that for years. Pyrex glass is chemically inert and not a problem. Better than many plastics actually for ultra-sensitive applications like embryology.
You need to make sure the flasks are sterile and absolutely clean. Watch and think through everything you do. For example I've lost batches of cells due to detergent from cleaning that got trapped in the crevices of the screw cap, didn't get rinsed off right, and then leaked into the culture. This stuff can sometimes appear like it's demonology, because of all the unknowns and variables involved. But in the end it really does follow the laws of chemistry and physics you know.
It is better if you use disposable 1 use containers for both RPMI complete/incomplete if you are moving for tissue culture.
Autoclavble jars are good but have chance of 20-30 % contamination so don't take any risk.
