Hello,
I have two questions related to the output of Process Macro for SPSS for Model 7 (Moderated mediation analysis).
1) I run the analysis but figured something strange (maybe it's not but it appears strange to me). My output states that X is significantly predicting Y controlling for W . And the interaction term is significant and also the moderate mediation effects on different levels are all significantly different from 0 and the effects differ a lot between the different levels of moderation. However, W does not predict M significantly. How can I interpret that finding? How could I report it?
2) I tested several DV always with the same IV, moderator variable and mediator variable. And found always the same p value for the interaction term M x W ( p = .0536) and related t-statistics and coefficients. However, the values of the IC's for the indirect effect and the conditional indirect effect differed between the variables.
What could be the explanation for that?
Best regards and thanks in advance!!
