*I use MitoTracker™ Deep Red FM from Thermo.

*Conc. 50 nanomolar and incubation time of around 30-40mins.

*The MitoTracker dye should be imaged soon as over time the toxicity increases that could lead to uneven signals. Further I generally fix the cells with 4% PFA after staining and wash with PBS to obtain a clear and even signal.
