Hi, I want to measure the transcriptional regulation of the miR17-92 family in human cancer cell lines. Do you know if there is a list of published primers available?
My purpose is to do absolute qRT-PCR based on SYBR Green I fluorescence. I read that a stem-loop qRT-PCR method is cheap and reliable to detect all the miRNA forms.
I don't have any experience with this. I appreciate it if you could help me or suggest a protocol.

we use the TaqMan MicroRNA system (Life Technologies) for miRNA quantification in qRT-PCR method.
You can order TaqMan primers which specifically detect your miRNA of choice and use the TaqMann reverse transcription mix followed by taqMan real time PCR reaction.
