Im thinking about doing some work with >80kb plasmids and I wanted to get a better understanding for working with such large vectors.
It seems like BAC is the only way to go and pBeloBAC11 is one of the better choices in terms of BAC vectors. Are there any newer BAC technologies that are more reliable?
Ive also heard that piggyBac doesn't have a cargo limit. Is that really true and are there any hindrances when using it for large vector transfections?
Are there any other useful technologies for large plasmid transfection?
