I am interested in studying and learning MESSAGE.
Could you please recommend some books, paper, articles or websites for learning this approach and the software?
I will appreciate your help if compare MESSAGE and TIMES.
MESSAGE stands at the core of ENE’s modeling framework. It provides a flexible framework for the comprehensive assessment of major energy challenges and has been applied extensively for the development of energy scenarios and the identification of socioeconomic and technological response strategies to these challenges.
The TIMES (The Integrated MARKAL-EFOM System) model generator was developed as part of the IEA-ETSAP's methodology for energy scenarios to conduct in-depth energy and environmental analyses (Loulou et al., 2004). The TIMES model generator combines two different, and complementary, approaches to modelling energy: a technical engineering approach and an economic approach. In a nutshell, TIMES is used for, "the exploration of possible energy futures based on contrasted scenarios" (Loulou et al., 2005).

I can read classical Arabic however it is more difficult than English and I have to spend more time (if dialects of Arabic or vernacular languages have not been used). I have seen the references and there are useful for my project.
