Hi Sajad, So I have not seen much direct SAM analysis, rather SAMs are used to collect, store, and organize industry data for countries in a way that is internationally standardized. They are, however, used to calibrate Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models, and they are used to create Input-Output matrices for I-O analysis. For more information on how to use a SAM to create a CGE model I suggest:

"Introduction to Computable General Equilibrium Models" by Mary Burfisher

" Textbook of Computable General Equilibrium Modeling" by Hosoe, Gasawa, and Hoshimoto

The two above rely on GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) a programming language that can be rather expensive. However, the basic idea is very much the same.

"Applying General Equilibrium" by Shoven and Whalley

This one above is a bit older and more technical, but Shoven and Whalley worked with Herb Scarf to create the first application of CGE analysis to public finance, so it is a good one to know.
