As far as I know, there is no product MEGA-PRESS sequence. There was a GABA-WIP (#529) for the old VB17 software and for VD13 (#859D) - cf. article below. For VE11, you should check with your Siemens contact. As an alternative, there is also a spectroscopy package with MEGA-PRESS/MEGA-LASER available at the CMRR (University of Minnesota, link below).

We have recently developed universal editing sequence, MEGA-PRESS, with standardized RF pulses (including duration and bandwidth) and timings across four major vendors, i.e., Philips, Siemens, GE, and Canon. This sequence also has HERMES functionality, which allows simultaneous editing of GABA and glutathione (GSH) in one MRS scan. For more details, please refer to the published article: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1053811916303706?via%3Dihub. For the Siemens platform, it is available through a C2P agreement (http://www.gabamrs.com/blog/2018/4/10/hermes-hits-indiana). If you'd like to know more about the sequence, email me ([email protected]).
I want to add more to the response above. We are pleased to announce that the description about universal editing sequence is available online as a journal article, published in Neuroimage (Article Multi-vendor standardized sequence for edited magnetic reson...
). The article (a page turner) describes the sequence design, performance and comparative analysis with the existing vendor-native WIP sequences (phantom and in vivo experiments). If you'd like to know more about the sequence, email me ([email protected]).
