'When should a theory be ranked as scientific?' This question was put forward by Sir Karl Popper in his contribution to the book 'Philosophy of Science' (Martin Curd & J.A. Cover, ed. 2012) and I think this question is still relevant and will stay so for those of us whose field of interest is science. Dear colleagues, that's why I pose the same question as Sir Popper to all of you: When is a theory scientific? Are there criteria for ranking a theory as scientific?
