Hi you, the expert of measurement modeling!

The classical measurement model that is used in estimating reliability by, for example, maximal reliability, do not include any element for the systematic mechanical error embedded to the factor loading (Lampbda, L). After all, L is (essentially) a product-moment correlation (PMC) between the item and the factor score. PMC is known to embed several sources of systematic error that makes it understimate the true association in a severe manner.

I tried to formalize this element of systematic error in the measurement model in the brief file appended below. The idea is quite radical as is the remedy I briefly discuss. I feel that the topic is important, all in all, the underestimation in reliability is the mother of all discussions within the measurement modelling...

I would appreciate if you'd like to read the text and give some feedback of obvious thinking mistakes or mechanical errors. Those would be important for me to know.
