I have Independent variable which the diversity of board of director and the dependent variable is the strategic change and after that I want see how the strategic change can affect the firm performance . so my question is how can measure the relationship between independent variable and two or other dependent variables? and what's the name of "strategic change variable" will be in this relation?

A variable in research is simply a symbol or a concept that can assume any one of a set of values (Davis & Cosenza, 1985). A Dependent Variable (DV) is the variable of primary interest to the researcher (Sekaran and Bougie, 2010), as he/she wants to improve it or explain it. First, independent variable activates (time 1), then intervening variable activates (time 2). Then dependent variable will activate (time 3).
In your research, as per my understanding, your DV is firm performance, your IV is diversity of board of directors, and your MV is strategic change. Possible hypotheses are:
1. Diversity of Board of Directors significantly and positively contributes to Strategic Change.
2. Strategic Change significantly and positively contributes to Firm Performance.
3. Diversity of Board of Directors directly and positively contributes to Firm Performance.
3. Strategic Change mediates the effect of Diversity of Board of Directors on Firm Performance.

You can manipulate independent variable in order to influence dependent variables (two dependent variables in your example). First, you have to take into consideration that independent variable should be controlled. The effect of independent variable (directors board) on dependent variable (strategic change) should provide with results which may be positive (added value) or negative (the consequence). In this case an neutral option should be also taken into consideration (if independent variable have marginal or no effect at all). Further, if you name with Y independent variable, you should also take into consideration that the dependent variable should be depended on independent variable and on itself. It sounds a bit controversial, however, you should derive the strategic change (new strategy) into decision(s) and into (plans). Whatever symbols you use is not important, as you take into account the content of the formula you create...You will realize that you have to deal with a whole range of dependent variables ...The hypothesis you probably will proof sounds like: Are the effects of radical organisational changes predictable? ...
