I recall seeing, one or two years ago, a guideline-style paper on the topic of “how to collect fungi and how to describe new species of fungi”. Problem is, I cannot seem to find it.
I vaguely recall that it was published in a “tropical” journal, but I could be wrong.
(And no, I’m not referring to Seifert’s 2010 paper. The one I’m thinking about was published perhaps one or two (three) years ago. Also, I’m very sure it was a scientific paper rather than a book.)
Do you happen to know what paper I’m thinking of?
