It is important for us to know first hand journals/Publishers which are nothing but mills.
In the era of open access publication and huge number of publishers, we must all consider submitting our valuable research to genuine journals. I suggest we list some publication mills
thank you for the list of hijacked journals. My focus was on publishers who do not follow fool proof procedure during peer review and accept all papers submitted even with out peer review

but I found most of RG-postings on Fake- or Hijacked Journals only today:

today I received again a message

advertising "MITT-Mitteilungen Klosterneuburg" as potential source for publication....
since I was a bit surprised to get ANY message from there after - say - 6 or 7 months I had written to that Journal (via the given e-mail) without any reaction I tried to verify again...
did search in Google for the mentioned "Editorial Board"-Persons: BUT could not find ANY TRACE in the web for any of the persons mentioned there (not even in SALZBURG, my home city!).
When I searched then for:
I found some websites INDICATING that the "Journal MITT" has been hijacked some year ago! (pl. cf.:

Naturally I am upset.... and/but - more interestingly - in RG there are a lot of postings regarding fake and/or hijacked Journals:

Sometimes I wonder about the ability to READ at least offers WHERE to read about informations that already have been given honestly (e.g. by Dr Mehrdad: cf. above:

and you will see the difference between the "original KASMERA and the fake-Journal Kasmera
