Deep brain TMS study with paired PET scans for individualized targeted treatment based on individual brain functioning reads before and after treatment of deep TMS in identified areas in the PET scans. Multiple psychiatric scales are also employed, the cost is approximately $1500/subject for the discounted operations rate of the PET scans.
Protocol is already in place for Depression and successful treatments are being achieved, but we would like to expand to other psychiatric disorders - specifically OCD
The NINDS section form the NIH have seversl grant options for device related research sponsoring, and specially if you do it in collaboration, so you can run half of the study in the us and other half in ankther contry, kwep in mind they also have regulations and some tiem specify the country has to be from a determined group, collaboration is a good way to getsupport, however from canada im certain there are several government grant that are destined to the evaluation and application of device interventions, hope this works
