I kept 10 mL vial in ice bucket in cold room (2-8) maintaining 4 to 5 deg C. it thawed properly. Aliquotes (1mL) of that vial i kept back in -20. When i need one aliquot and i thawed in similar way, it appears gelley type after overnight thawing and not completely liquefied. Do protein concentration effects thawing process? Do lot contamination affect thawing process? What are other factors that do affect matrigel thawing process.

Previously i was not having this issue. This is first time with same thawing process.
