I have attached the root locus plot of a determinant of a transfer function matrix (3x3) and I am not sure whether it can be categorized as a minimum phase or a non-minimum phase system. I am aware of the fact that a non-minimum phase system has a zero in the right half of the s-plane but in this case the zero lies exactly on the origin.
Please provide an answer with suitable justification.

The poles lying in the origin of the S-plane, do not cause system instability. Practically they are ideal integrator. H(s)= K/S, Only at the dc where w=0, the transfer characteristics can tend to infinity. So if the gain of the system is limited at the dc condition the output can not go to infinity.
From the time domain point of view the system response will be proportional to K (exp pt) where p is the pole sigma+jw. Since p=0, then in the time domain the output will be =K . All what one practically is to limit the dc gain of the integrator. This is my point of view.

Please analyse the step response to judge whether minimum phase or non-minimum phase. You will get to know the difference clearly.
Jagannath, can you kindly elaborate your reply ? Are you referring to the undershoot that occurs in the response of a NMP system ?
