This is a borderline case. This journal “Journal of Biology and Nature.” ISSN: 2395-5376 is published by “International Knowledge Press” (I.K. Press) which is mentioned in the Beall’s list (https://beallslist.net ).This is a red flag.
However, unlike ‘real’ predatory journals:
-They are transparent in their indexing info (even when it refers to discontinuation) https://www.ikprress.org/index.php/index/abstracting-indexing
-Talking about their indexing info, no mentioning of so-called misleading metrics (https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/ ). This is again unlike what most predatory journals do
-The NAAS score of the journal gives some credibility
They are linked to ScienceDomain International (see for example https://www.ikprress.org/index.php/JOBAN/article/view/9442/10084This is the exact lay-out used by SDI as well).See also my reply of September 21st, 2020 here https://www.researchgate.net/post/Can-I-trust-Sciencedomain-International-publishing-Group-I-please-inform-me-details-aboutScience-domain
I guess my conclusion about this publisher SDI is the same for the journal here and I quote “So, a mixed picture all together. I tend to say that this publisher is trying to get their act together and made already some considerable steps to improve... Unfortunately getting indexed in the Beall’s list happens way faster than delisting.”
So you might have a close look at some of their papers (and reviews which they publish as well) to see if you want to proceed with them.
That journal does raise several red flags — things like random review invitations, poor visibility in major databases, and a publisher with little reputation. Those are all signs of a predatory outlet. I’d suggest avoiding it and sticking with well-established journals that are indexed and have transparent peer-review processes.
