In my eyes it is not possible to corelate "2 Digits" (today: first Field) typing resolutionwith eplet matching. You need "4 Digits" typing resolution (today: typing of the first and second Field) at least.

Since 2010 we have a new HLA nomenclature (WHO) in the whole world!

Terms like 2 and 4 digit resolution are obsolet!

I am not sure, if Haplostat will give you the right translation from the "2 Digit resolution" results to the most presumptive "4 Digit resolution" result in your population.

To give an exsanple: B*15 in Caucasians, Haplostat would this translate into B*15:01. But in Asia (India) the translation should be B*15:02.

With these data you could look for eplet mazching with the help of the MatchMaker program. You don't need MFI values to do this.

To answer this question, you need the testing results before and after transplantation!

The diagnosis: pre-formed or de-novo antibodies is independent from MFI values!

If you know your population and most frequent alleles then you can estimate the 4-digit typing and use this data to look at eplet mismatches. Its not 100% but we have done the analysis in Australia and show good correlation with actual 4-digit typing. Kind regards.
