Q-methodology combines both qualitative and quantitative research methods to systematically explore and describe the range of viewpoints about a topic. It's a new trend, especially in health research and public health, whereby participants are required to rank a set of predefined statements related to the topic, according to their own viewpoint. This accelerates policy drafting. Sources of determining Q-statements could arise from qualitative study interviews, literature, etc.
