Usually cancer cells have some unique features which are not present in normal cells, for example mutated p53 etc. So i want to know about such unique receptor in HCT-15 cells to which normal cells are deprived. Please share your views with me about this.
As such there are no novel receptor in a cancer. Although the receptor can be heterodimerize/trancated, like Growth factors etc. However if you look the surface of the cancer cell, eventually it contain more surface proteins.

Integrins are usually present during epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, but not (or to much lower extents) in differentiated epithelial cells. So you can use for example the beta6-unit of alphavbeta6-integrin (receptor for fibronectin and tenascin) as a marker. It was also described by Bates et al. Beta6-integrin is transcriptionally activated in colon carcinomas.Unfortunately, I cannot tell you whether it is expressed in HCT-15 or not.
