I have collected few sediment sample from drain and riverbed and analyzed for metals and other parameters. I want to compare my findings with respect to some standards, like published by US EPA etc.
I suggest that you also take a look at "the toxicity" of the sediments, and you can e.g. do this with the (practical and low cost) Ostracotoxkit microbiotest.
You can find detailed info on this on the website www.microbiotests.be .
NB : this test is now also an "ISO" standard (ISO14371)
Yes, there are Certified Reference Materials, prepared and certified by the Institute for Reference Materials of the European Commission. Please, see the attached catalogue
Along with the above references, you can also check the followings for further reading. The book "Principles of Lake Sedimentology" by Hakanson and Jannsson, could be another good option for you.
Dear Rishu Kumar , you may download my article "Use of Sediment Quality Guidelines and pollution indicators for the assessment of heavy metal and PAH contamination in Greek surficial sea and Lake sediments". There you will find valuable info on US EPA limits, application of pollution indicators, etc.
