Is there any specialised vector system to express short peptides (appx. 30-40 aa long) in mammalian cells?

I am looking for a system to express short peptides in mammalian cells by transfection of plasmid (or transduction of viral particles encoding the peptide expression cassette). The peptide is small (appx 30 aa) and lacks start codon (which can be incorporated though). IS there any efficient vector system for such purpose?
