I've done RT-PCR and found that the macrophage (from mouse) strain that I'm dealing with does not have NF-kB gene. However, there is IL-6, iNOS, and TNF-alpha. So, is it possible that IL-6 and TNF-alpha cytokines can be produce from other inflammatory pathways without going through NF-kB?
