Populations around the world are showing increased longevity. Is there any evidence that this has been accompanied by slower biological ageing, or is the improvement simply due to antibiotics and other drugs?

The increased longevity is mainly due to reduced infant mortality, and, I suspect, reduced infant morbidity resulting in a generally improved constitution. I don't think this has anything to do with antibiotics, and indeed doubt that advances in medical treatment have been all that relevant.
Lifestyle disorders have increased over the time s.a diabetes, cardiac disorders, thyroids and many more. Resulting in ageing. Yoga & meditation helps in reducing anxiety & frustration. Less blood adrenaline level and slower ageing. If lifestyle is controlled ageing will automatically controlled. In Ayurveda life of human being is atleast 100 or more than that. Antibiotics increases the ageing.
