As for researchgate quotes, you can use them without any prohibition; all you have to do is to paraphrase them. General information on the net does not require the permission of the author. However, for written articles, the story is different.

I see nothing bad in that since using RG for such purpose is as good as using questionnaire approach. However, there is need to follow writing ethics as said by Dr Mahesh Kumar and acknowledgement must be done as advised by respected Dr Adam B Shapiro.

As I understand it, a major reason for you to ask this question is that the content on ResearchGate can easily be edited or deleted. However, this is the same situation when you refer to content on other web pages also, and which is also quite common to do.

What you need to do is to add the date when you accessed the content on the web page in your reference, e.g. "Accessed 19th of August 2018". Then your reference is correct with respect to that date at least unless it is changed on that very date. To use a time stamp, i.e. write the time (including time zone) when the content was accessed is also possible, but it is not (so) common to do that.

If the web page has been deleted when a reader try to access it from your reference, the reader cannot access it of course, but most readers will normally understand that it has been deleted even if one may also start to wonder if something is wrong in the reference. If the content has been edited, it may be worse, because you may then end up with referring to something you haven't read yourself and even expressing views or a content you disagree with or didn't want to refer to.

Thus, when referring to web pages, in addition to include the accessed date, it is very important to be very specific with what you are referring to, e.g. give the text in quotation marks, give the actual figure/photo/illustration/etc., state the actual values, and so on, instead of just stating that the text, figures, values, etc., may be found there without showing them. For example, write "... the velocities were found to be 856 m/s and 916 m/s, respectively [12]", do not write "... where the velocities may be found [12]".

Then you are clear on what you are referring to and where you got it at what time (date). I hope this was helpful.

This depends on the size of participation in the research work, and in general, the credibility and scientific rigor appear by highlighting the contribution of everyone in the achievement, regardless of the rate of participation in it.

It is not the issue of ethics since you may use this data. It rather is the issue of methodology. The reseaearch technique of content analysis would be the most suitable here. Good luck!
