Hello everyone,

Is there any buffer without Sodium to use for the BCA assay? Normally, I was using PBS but, I need to calculate the amount of Sodium and protein levels in my extracted samples from humans using the same buffer. So, I need to find a new buffer. I found some buffers without Na such as ACES, EPPS, however, they are not suitable to use on human skin. Can I use Potassium Acetate or any Potassium Buffers?

PS: The buffer should not be an eye, skin irritant.
