Is there a chance of obtaining LiFePO4 from Fe(II) without oxidation to Fe(III)?

Most of the information starting from FeSO4 or similar, is that Fe(II) is oxidized in order to obtain FePO4 precipitate, then Fe(III) reduced to obtain LiFePO4.

Is there a synthesis where obtain LFP starting from Fe (II) avoiding Fe (III) formation?
