Recently, I decided to send an idea to the Journal of Brief Ideas (http://beta.briefideas.org/). After two days, I received an email informing me that my idea is rejected. I have no problem with that decision; however, I did not feel comfortable because they did not justify the rejection, the decision letter was not written in a formal way, and I could not find the emails of the editors for asking them about the reasons for rejecting the idea especially the idea adds to my specialization, and it has not violated their publishing policy (http://beta.briefideas.org/about#standards).
Therefore, I asked my question.
